A Passion for Authenticity
Our creative team's journey began with an unwavering admiration for Gloverall's commitment to crafting high-quality, British-made outerwear. The Montgomery coat, an enduring symbol of timeless elegance, captured our hearts. We selected our favorite colorways from the illustrious Gloverall Montycoat collection and embarked on a journey to infuse it with the No Label touch.quality but also that I’m taking care of, and have responsibility for 85 families in this region. It is easy to grow bigger but it is a lot harder to stay that way. I strongly believe that staying small and focusing on quality over quantity is the key to our success.”
Crafted with Precision
In our quest to pay homage to Gloverall's heritage while instilling the essence of No Label, we took a meticulous approach. Stripping the coat down to its bare essentials, we embarked on the mission to elevate it, adding our unique twist without losing sight of the Gloverall legacy.
The Gloverall x No Label collection showcases an exquisite blend of classic design and modern refinement. We've introduced subtle yet impactful changes, using tonal materials to enhance the overall aesthetic. The navy coat boasts sleek gunmetal buttons, while the off-white variant features a tasteful beige accent. Both coats sport a special tonal twill taping that gracefully weaves its way through the fabric, connecting them to the materials used in many of our other creations, from our shopping bags to our labels.
How Gloverall started
Five years post-World War II, H&F Morris, the folks behind Gloves and Overalls (that's Harold and Freda), stumbled upon a stash of surplus military Duffle Coats. These coats flew off the shelves in camping and leisurewear shops, and boom, a business was born! Harold, with some tailor genes in his DNA, and Freda decided to create their own Duffle coats under the snazzy name Gloverall. Harold, being the innovator he is, ditched those clunky jute rope fastenings, which were a pain to attach, and replaced them with leather straps. He also jazzed things up with some Italian check back fabric.
