The story
Eighty percent wool certified to the Responsible Wool Standard, twenty percent recycled nylon. The nylon earns its place: it adds the recovery that keeps a cuff and a hem in shape wash after wash. We knit it at 7 gauge on a single end for the half cardigans and at 5 gauge on two ends where the piece needs weight, plus a flecked yarn that is pre-twisted before it is knitted. It goes in the machine at 20°C. Wool pills where it rubs, which is the fibre working rather than failing, and a fabric comb or lint remover takes care of it.
