The story
Indigo behaves differently from other dyes. It sits on the outside of the yarn rather than soaking through, which is why it fades at the fold and the elbow instead of washing out evenly across the shirt. There is one cloth here: a smooth denim twill in 100% cotton, cut slim with a widespread collar and made up in Portugal. It runs in three colourways. All of them lose colour in the first washes. That is the fabric doing what it is supposed to do.
