The story

Sixty percent BCI cotton, thirty percent nylon, ten percent merino wool. The merino is the smallest of the three and the cotton carries the rest, so this reads as a cotton knit with wool in it. One yarn is knitted two ways: 9 gauge on a single end for the crew neck, and 5 gauge on two ends for the half zip. Both go in the machine at 20°C on a wool or delicate cycle, with a detergent meant for wool and the garment inside a wash bag. Dry it flat and reshape it while it is still damp. Some light pilling is normal once wool is worn, and a fabric comb or lint remover takes it back off.

Why choose it

For the knit you reach for often enough that it has to survive your own machine.

01

It washes at home

Machine washable is listed on every style: 20°C, wool or delicate cycle, wool detergent, in a wash bag.

02

More nylon than wool

Thirty percent of the yarn is nylon, three times the merino content. This is a cotton knit before it is a wool one.

03

Two gauges, one yarn

9 gauge on a single end for the crew neck, 5 gauge on two ends for the half zip.

04

Pilling comes off

Wool pills a little as it is worn. A fabric comb or lint remover is all it needs.
