The story
Rigid denim has no elastane in it at all. It starts stiff and stays exactly where you put it, and then over a few months it takes the shape of the person wearing it instead of snapping back to the shape it was cut in. It runs in two weights, 11,6 and 12,25 oz. All of it is 100% cotton, cut straight through the leg, and made up in Tunisia. The first wash is the one that matters: on its own, at 30°C, inside out, and the colour stays where it belongs.
