The story
Sixty percent wool, thirty percent polyester, ten percent polyamide. The wool is Italian, and it is spun for outerwear rather than for next to the skin, which is why the blend is built for structure and not for softness. One colourway runs on a slightly different mix, fifty percent wool with acrylic alongside the polyester and polyamide, but it is the same quality from the same mill, so the weight and the hand do not change between colours. The jacket closes with a two-way zip and is made up in Macedonia. It is dry clean only, and the care note is unusually clear that it should not be dry cleaned often: hang it outside for a few hours instead, and most of what it picked up leaves on its own.
