The story
Viscose is what gives this cloth its drape: it hangs with weight against the leg rather than standing away from it, which is what makes a trouser read smart. The polyester holds that shape through a full day, and six percent elastane means you can sit in it without thinking about it. It is made in Portugal and cut with an elasticated waistband, so the trouser does the adjusting instead of you. The same cloth runs tapered and relaxed, which makes the choice a question of fit rather than fabric.
