The story
Ninety percent merino for the structure and the next-to-skin softness, ten percent cashmere for the weight and the hand. It is a small share of cashmere, and it is also the difference you feel in the first ten seconds. We use this yarn for the two pieces that sit directly against skin, a beanie and a scarf, which is exactly where a coarser wool starts to itch after an hour. Both are dry clean only, so do it rarely. Airing the piece on a hanger between wears does most of the work a cleaner would.
