The cloth is finished to repel water and that is what the garment says. No rating is stated beyond it, and we are not going to imply one.

The cloth comes from an Italian mill. The jackets themselves are made up in Macedonia, which is a different thing and worth keeping separate.

Both styles carry a lightweight padding. It is there for warmth rather than for volume.
